3. Please do not update this tool online, or It will be damaged.
4. You can connect it with internet when you use it. and it will not damage the hardware.
5. Our kess v2 is with CE and FCC certificate , it does not have problem to European and US Custom !
5. You have to connect with your car when you install the sw.(Otherwise sw can't be installed successfully).
6. If you want to update hardware of your old KESS V2, You have to ship back the multiplexer

1. Different Connection Way :
For Most Vehicles, KESS V5.017 can read and write ECU via OBD2 Cable Directly, Easy To Operate !
KTAG V7.020 read and write ECU via TRICORE or BDM Or Other Mode with special cable, But the software will guide you how to operate !
2. Different Vehicle Coverage :
KESS 5.017 can not work For Toyota Denso 76F00XX ECU Protocol,But KTAG V7.020 can work For Toyota Denso 76F00XX very well !
KTAG V7.020 can support much more truck/tractor/motorcycle than KESS V5.017 !
For Some cars. KESS V5.017 just can read it. But KTAG V7.020 can read and write it ,like for toyota HILUX .
3. KTAG V7.020 add a cable with GPT Functions.
( GPT is new password algo cryptography that is implemented in new Tricore microcontrollers. our KTAG v7.020 can easily read and decrypt the secret password and it automatically unlocks/unprotects the Tricore sectors so it can read and write both Flash and Eeprom )
